I’m Nigel Cushion, a dedicated photography tutor based in Loughton, Essex with decades of experience in photography education.

I continually refine my teaching methods, exploring innovative and engaging approaches to instruct in the art of digital photography. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer aiming to enhance your skills, my courses are crafted to deliver a meaningful and transformative learning experience.

I am advantageously located in Loughton, Essex, we benefit from being on the TfL Central Line and near junction 26 on the M25, so it’s great for transport. We are also on the edge of historic Epping Forest, which we make full use of in our 1-2-1 tuition and small group Photowalks.

• Tuition Location - Essex

Tuition sessions mainly take place here in Loughton, adjacent to Epping Forest and are located in a local coffee shop or my home studio, depending on your preference.  But, I can also provide tuition at such locations  as  Essex Wildlife Trust - Bedfords Park near Romford and Weald Park in Brentwood, if these locations are more convenient for you.

• Tuition Location - London

In addition I run tuition and workshop sessions in London, located centrally and also East, based in the Barbican, Soho (Photowalk from Photographer’s Gallery), Canary Wharf, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Walthamstow and Wanstead. We can arrange to have the tuition at your home or business address, if this is your preferred option. An additional charge is made at a flat rate of £1.00 per mile from my home address to your preferred location, which we can agree in advance of the tuition.
