This 1-2-1 Photography Course is run in Loughton, Essex (Central Line)

For this 1-2-1 course in, we will arrange to meet at a coffee shop, or my home studio. This location will be used for tuition and will use the local area to provide practical settings as needed.

Once you have purchased your training session, please contact me to discuss a mutually agreeable date for the training. I can usually fit people in within a couple of weeks.

This course is usually a 4 hour session, but can be 2 hours, depending on your requirements and experience. The session being tailored to ensure we cover what you want, and to help you get the best from your camera. This is a basic level course which is designed for all to be able to learn the fundamentals of digital photography, including setting up and using your camera.

But, as this an introduction to digital photography course we will start by looking at how to set up and control your camera. We will look at using the correct Aperture, ISO & Shutter Speed according to the subject and conditions. These three settings are the fundamentals of the exposure triangle and each one has an influence on the other. We will work on understanding these variables to allow you to achieve technically correct images, and we will also explore how to become more creative in your approach to photography with this practical knowledge.

• How to hold and control your camera

• Example settings for different uses

• Shooting modes (with practical)

• Hands-On Shooting: Guided practice session focusing on specific techniques discussed

• File types and transfer to computer
